This is an opportunity to participate in the modernization of an existing software application and, as a result, improve the current business practices of the team. The candidate will:
Lead the requirement analysis effort and communicate those requirements to the developer for each component of the system's work breakdown structure.
Work independently and with minimal supervivision
Facilitate and coordinate the activities of the Agile development team.
Test each module iteratively until it is ready for presentation to the users and customer.
The candidate will be assisting the Nuclear Test Personnel Review (NTPR) program to modernize their current software application which is comprised of modules for claims processing and tracking, military records ordering, repositories for research and radiation exposure findings, administrative functions, and an extensive set of queries and reports. The candidate will work with current NTPR staff to learn the functions of the current software application and offer suggestions for improvements, taking advantage of modern software capabilities. He/she will collaborate with end users to develop a set of requirements for each module. As modules are developed the candidate will conduct initial testing and coordinate end user testing before the module is presented to the customer. The candidate will work independently with little supervision and will be responsible for the entire set of requirements and for communicating those requirements to NTPR staff and the software developer
This position requires:
A bachelor's degree in software design, information management, or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years experience as a business analyst, software tester, and scrum master
Experience with Agile development methodologies including SCRUM
Experience with documentation and translation of business processes into software development requirements.
