Job Description

CACI is seeking a Software Integration Engineer experienced with performing integration, testing and the cybersecurity hardening of Microsoft and Linux environments into a manage baseline.  This work is in support of the Air Operations Center Weapon System (AOC WS). Location of work Hampton, VA.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Support the Core Lead and team in Production Center team meetings; maintain awareness and report status on tasks; advise Core Lead, including providing detailed input in the development of release schedules.
  • Plan and execute the daily activities assigned to Core System Administrators to execute day-to-day maintenance and support of the test suite and integrate new capabilities into the AOC WS baseline.
  • Integrate, upgrade, and manage Windows Server 2012R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, Citrix systems and related Microsoft Services and Applications supporting the AOC WS.
  • Responsible for engineering and supporting the AOC WS Identity Management and Access, Two Factor Authentication, PKI, Enterprise Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Administer associated Windows and Linux servers and clients in a dynamic integration and test lab environment.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting the pre-planning, installation, post-configuration, and maintenance requirements for associated systems.
  • Support system/application verification and validation instructions.
  • Research system changes and develop integration strategies.
  • Analyze STIG and VRAM assessments and develop appropriate remediation as required.
  • Troubleshoot issues, track status, and document resolution in a centralized. trouble ticket management system.
  • Foster a collaborative working relationship with AOC mission application providers, industry SMEs, and functional area representatives.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Active Secret DOD security clearance.
  • BS + 10 year's of relevant experience as a Systems Administrator/Systems Engineer.
  • Security + CE certification or higher.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience.

  • Ability to produce detailed technical documentation.

  • Ability to work on a team under pressure to meet strict schedule requirements.

  • Familiarity with Agile Project Management. 

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Power shell automation.
  • Ansible Automation experience.
  • Amazon Web Service.
  • Working knowledge of capabilities, functions and use of AOC systems/applications.
  • Microsoft SCCM.
  • HBSS (McAfee ePO).
