Job Description

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer who leads  program/project requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, verification and maintenance for a broad range of DoD and Intelligence applications at Lexington Park, MD.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Participates directly within a cross-disciplinary, government led team to translate customer requirements into technical specifications. 

  • Conducts analysis such as AoA, feasibility studies, trade studies and leads implementation of CACI solutions performed at all levels of product development including concept, design, fabrication, installation, test, operation and sustainment.  

  • Customer requirements are focused on integrated communications and intelligence  systems, area networks, point-to-point systems, secure systems, signal coding and modulation schema, digital and wireless radio/communications technology and network architecture design. 

  • Incumbent will become a local expert in the customers mission and culture, and will offer best solutions available throughout CACI, and/or other solutions in the industry and academia, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML); Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED), Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure Services.

  • The role will supervise junior and mid-level engineers in addition to the technical duties outlined above.

    You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship is required to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.

  • Bachelors  Degree in an Engineering-related technical field.

  • 7 years related experience (5 years involving design, development, installation, integration, maintenance and/or testing of  Command Control Communications Computers Cyber Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems.

  • Strong analytical, and written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter that can work with minimum supervision and has good team interaction skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • An active DoD TS/SCI.

  • Masters Degree in Systems Engineering or Communication -Related Systems.

  • Experience developing integrated communication systems similar to those described in the position description.

  • Hands on experience and ability to operate test equipment to include spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
