CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI provides a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI supports TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Respond to network events, and troubleshoot and configure routers and switches
Daily administration of the load balancer environment
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues and deploy solutions
Plan and implement upgrades and install new equipment
Evaluate modern technologies to optimize network efficiency
Inform management in a clear, concise, and timely manner of any customer or technical issues.
Use the Remedy ITSM tool to initiate, respond, and track tickets
Create reports and analyze metrics
Adhere to Change Management processes and procedures
Create and follow SOPs
Satisfactorily complete and maintain quarterly internal training and certification standards
Be responsive and decisive on adjusting architecture as customer requirements and technology evolves
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship Required
An active Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment
BA/BS or equivalent experience and minimum 5-15 years related work experience
In depth knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols.
Familiarity with the following technologies and guidelines: Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco 95xx and 6509-E, Cisco C7010/C5596 Nexus Switches, Cisco 55xx ASA Firewalls, and DHS Compliance Checks, Network Monitoring Tools
Functional understanding of network Layer 2/3 switching and routing protocols.
Functional understanding of diverse set of networked applications and terms requiring application traffic management solutions, including HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, DNS, NTP, ANYCAST services, NAT and others
DMZ Network infrastructure knowledge including topology, security policies, firewalls and the L2/L3 switch and router infrastructure is required
Proven communicator and leader
Must be able to work well in an environment facilitating a large group of government and other contractor personnel to achieve a common goal
Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high-level of operational effectiveness
Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team
Experience managing across the ITIL Service Lifecycle Framework with specific knowledge of the Service Design Coordination, Transition Planning & Support and Release & Deployment Management processes
Ability to communicate effectively with people who have varying degrees of technical expertise
Ability to produce quality documentation (understand difference between standard, best practice, design & process documents
ITIL v4 certification required within 90 days of hire
These Qualifications Would Nice to Have:
Relevant DHS focused experience
Active DoD Clearance preferred, but not required
F5 Certified, CCNA/CCNP, or higher CISCO certifications preferred
Experience with Azure preferred
SolarWinds NMS preferred
