Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Manage and execute the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of IT systems, including server operating systems, hardware, software and cloud services.
  • Lead a team responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining a highly reliable and scalable hybrid cloud platform.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements.
  • Research emerging products, services and operating methodologies in order to establish and maintain a relevant IT roadmap which aligns with customer business goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate vendor management activities to include third party risk, change management, cost control and scheduling.
  • Track infrastructure costs and identify financial improvements and efficiencies for planning and budgeting purposes.
  • Leverage Agile methodologies, such as Kanban, to provide monitoring and support of the customer’s cloud environment including product upgrades, rollouts and security patches.
  • Create and maintain Operations checklists, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guidelines and other documentation as needed.
  • Attract, grow and retain top talent.



You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in an enterprise IT organization with at least 5+ years of IT management experience.
  • Deep understanding and experience managing Cloud infrastructure at scale including building  and migrating private on-premise solutions to cloud hosting environments and supporting a hybrid  infrastructure.
  • Proven experience managing a 24X7 environment.
  • Expert knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relational databases on the cloud (SQL Server preferred)
  • Experience at driving automation and leading efforts to develop and maintain efficient, reliable and scalable automated solutions.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining vendor applications on a cloud infrastructure
  • Experience to develop and maintain a solution to manage on/off demand infrastructure demands to meet cost efficiency.
  • Previous Federal Government experience and supporting FedRamp environments.
  • Strong understanding and enthusiasm for emerging technologies.
  • Azure or AWS certification (Azure preferred).
  •  Experience with SQL queries.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Experience with UIPath a plus.
  • B. S. or M. S. in Computer Science or related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, at a minimum,  Public Trust clearance.
