CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our team in the National Capital Region (NCR). CACI is providing a variety of IT services to this customer including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services.
What You’ll Get to Do: The Internet of Things (IoT) Systems Engineering Lead will be responsible for supporting systems and applications on a geographically dispersed Windows Enterprise network with multiple types of servers and server applications. The candidate will be directly responsible for the effective and efficient operation and interconnectivity of a DHS Client Network and will execute the actions required to correct deficiencies or shortcomings and to improve system performance and efficiency. The candidate will provide senior level knowledge and Tier 3 support to the customer and their components to include Tier 3 infrastructure, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and support that builds, configures, and administers several hundred servers in their area of operation.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.
Provide infrastructure engineering designs, builds, and escalated support to services and products.
Perform engineering functions found in the service design domain and provide escalated support to incident management.
Support engineering efforts to design, build, test, integrate, transition, implement, document, and train when transitioned to IT Operations Management.
Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
Demonstrated experience with some or all of the following tools, technologies and platforms: SCCM, Mobile Device Management, and virtual/cloud environments.
Management of direct reports.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship required.
An active Entrance on Duty (EOD) is required to begin employment and must be maintained as a requirement of continued employment.
Ten (10) or more years of subject matter expertise with monitoring performance and throughput, setting baselines for acceptance performance standards while teams develop new solutions.
Large enterprise and cutting-edge systems and applications (i.e. Kiosks, technology bars, etc.)
Ability to design, implement and test new technologies as introduced by industry
Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM).
Experience with set-up and connectivity to virtual/cloud-based environments.
Experience with major cloud providers preferred (i.e., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Ability and readiness to work in a rapidly changing, Agile but collaborative environment.
Ability to coordinate and manage device imaging infrastructure, software provisioning and distribution, patching and update services, and overall best practice methodology
Ability to optimize and standardize the management of devices within the network environment based on factors such as industry best practices and interoperability with other technologies within the Enterprise.
Must have strong critical thinking, complex problem solving, appropriate judgment, and decision-making skills.
Possess superior technical aptitude and effective written and verbal communications skills.
Proven experience with managing and using Dev Ops concepts.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
Previous management experience.
