What You’ll Get to Do:
Lab System Administrator to deploy, manage, maintain physical and virtual servers, storage servers, desktops/workstations and various MILSPEC hardware. Perform vulnerability assessments. Test and maintenance of hardware.

Deploy, manage, and maintain physical and virtual: servers, storage appliances, desktops/workstations, and laptops as well as various MILSPEC hardware
Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory and Domain Service components such as Windows Deployment Service (WDS), Windows Service Update Service (WSUS), DHCP, DNS, user accounts, etc.
Manage and maintain McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS) suite to include ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), Virus Scan Enterprise (VSE), policy creation and implementation
Deploy, manage, and maintain a VMWare virtual environment to include ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines
Patch management of computing and network platforms as well as relevant software in accordance to Information Assurance guidelines
Monitor system health and activity/event logs across various systems and address issues as required
Perform vulnerability assessments utilizing DoD approved systems (e.g.: ACAS, Nessus, SCAP tool, STIG viewer, etc.) for report generation and to assist with system hardening in accordance to IA guidelines
Create and maintain network diagrams and hardware / software lists for periodic submission for ATO compliance
Test and complete development and engineering of new hardware/software baseline solutions
Interact with vendors and suppliers for system upgrades and warranty replacement.
Support management and maintenance of hardware and software inventory
Manage and maintain Helpdesk ticketing system and address submitted tickets
Provide technical support to lab staff and testing community when required
Terminate network infrastructure cables when required
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or related discipline
Minimum of a Secret clearance with a SSBI / Tier 5 investigation
Active DoD8570.01-M approved baseline security certification (e.g.: Security +)
Computing Environment Certification (e.g.: Windows, Linux, VMware, etc.)
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5-10 years hands-on experience in the following:
Working in a mixed operating system environment, primarily Linux and Windows
Windows Active Directory and Domain Services design and implementation
Building, managing, and maintaining a VMware virtualization environment
Familiarity with Information Assurance (IA) guidelines and best practices
Experience with IA products such as ACAS, SCAP, STIG benchmark, HBSS, etc.
Scripting experience (Bash, Powershell, Python, etc.) is a plus
Minimum basic understanding of networking principles and configuration
