What You’ll Get to Do:
Advise the NASEA Acquisition Program Office on production monitoring, progressing, schedule adherence analysis, and systems engineering.
Assist the Navy successfully oversee ship construction by analyzing production manning and metrics used to assess readiness for key milestones including the start of production, launch, and trials.
Create presentations and brief leadership.
More About this Role:
This will require being the interface between the following primary stakeholders; NAVSEA Acquisition Program Office, Navy Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Prime Contractor, and Shipbuilder.
The goal is to achieve on-time on-budget deliveries and hull over hull production improvements in order to realize the cost, schedule, and performance benefits to all stakeholders.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in production and manning metrics analysis
7+ years of experience briefing to leadership (GS14-equivalent)
Highly proficient in MS Excel
Experience with Open Plan, MS Project, or other scheduling software
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or management
Serial production of Navy ships at a Tier II shipyard
Basic coding experience required (C++, Matlab, VBA macro or other)
Database experience in SQL, Microsoft Access, or other EVM experience
Navy, Coast Guard, or Merchant Marine experience
