What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI has an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our team as an Acquisition Professional, supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, DC. You will Perform strategic planning on acquisition approaches, participate in the planning of complex procurements, and develop associated contract documentation.
More About the Role:
Assist with all aspects of the federal government contracting life cycle, including pre–award acquisition planning, source selection support, and post–award contract administration for complex naval and DoD systems.
Work with Cross Functional Team (CFT) members to develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to support the development of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) as well as developing the Execution Plan.
Work with Naval Research Laboratory Engineers to refine the WBS and ensure adherence to the Execution Plan and IMS.
Assist in preparing financial execution plans and tracking to the Execution Plan.
Generate task planning sheets (TPS), and assist with contract administration, monitoring task and contract funding and periods of performance.
Input TPS data into NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS)
Monitor budget allocation and expenditure of contract funding and contractor funding requests.
Assist the PM with scheduling meetings, coordinating working groups and IPTs.
Assemble agendas, minutes, action items, and briefs as required for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Track action items to close.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Typically has B.A/B.S degree and minimum of 5 years of experience with acquisition and program management support in a DoD program office
Current TS Clearance
The ability to work with senior military leaders, civilian and uniform, and coordinate across action officer level activities
Ability to work effectively with a team but also independently and take initiative with limited supervision in a customer support role.
Highly organized and able to work with tight timelines
Excellent analytical skills, coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Possession of excellent oral and written skills.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
MA or MS degree
Completion of acquisition training, education, or certifications, including Defense Acquisition University, DAWIA Certification, or membership in the Acquisition Corps.
DAWIA Level I Certification in Program Management.
