What You’ll Get to Do:
As an AFRICOM Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Analysis and Assessments Specialist, you will provide services that meet Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness and Manager’s Internal Control Program goals and objectives. You will plan and execute all aspect of FIAR support that assists the command in meeting its objectives and compliance with the Defense Security Cooperation Agency audit requirements.
More About this Role:
You will provide Audit Readiness Program planning support incorporating advice, analyses, training, and assistance in carrying out responsibilities to support Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness and Manager’s Internal Control Program. You will develop Financial Improvement Plans (FIP) for each assessable unit and other audit documentation as required. You will assist in continued discovery, testing, and validation efforts that require audit readiness validation for assigned financial segments. You will conduct, manage, and present Data Analytics and Metrics reporting to Client Leadership.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
•Developing and assisting in the implementation of routine methods of review and data analysis, to enable the prevention, detection, correction (CAPs), monitoring and auditing of relevant compliance risks.
•Providing training support and advising the Clients on industry standards and best practices.
•Supporting internal audits, including planning, testing of controls, data analysis, preparing accurate work papers to properly document findings.
•Identifying, analyzing and assessing complex enterprise-wide environment, regulatory compliance inquiries and issues, and compliance program needs
•Researching and developing compliance programming, compliance initiatives and internal controls.
•Experience with facilitating and planning of entrance conferences, exit conferences and audit interviews.
•Developing and Monitoring operational metrics and indicators related to compliance performance and coordinates all activities related to Internal Controls Over Non-Financial Operations, Financial Reporting and Systems.
•Developing Standardized Operating Procedures, Assessable Unit Process Maps and Narratives, and Desk Guides.
