More About the Role:
CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Software Engineer who will perform configuration and operations and maintenance (O&M) on premise instances of AppDynamics. As a Software Engineer, you will also develop and maintain user profiles to assist mission partner business transaction configuration for optimum performance monitoring.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Troubleshooting, patching, upgrading, and resolving incidents
Working individually or as part of a team
Creating and monitoring Cisco help desk tickets to resolve AppDynamics issues
Working with mission partners in business transaction configuration
Assisting mission partners in the creation of analytic searches, health rules, and custom dashboards
Developing or configuring new AppDynamics capabilities
Attending staff, customer, and Agile related meetings, as required
Possessing a pager or client-supplied cell phone on a rotating basis
Other duties, as assigned
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Background in AppDynamics
Background in application development, including single-page, container, and microservices
Subject-matter expert (SME) in AppDynamics with in depth knowledge of business transaction configuration and agent deployment
Ability to reach back into Cisco (AppDynamics) to discover best practices for the instrumentation of COTS products
Candidate must have one of the following:
12 Years of job-related experience and High School/GED diploma
10 Years of job-related experience and Associates degree
8 Years of job-related experience and Bachelor’s degree
6 Years of job-related experience and Master’s degree
4 Years of job-related experience and Doctorate
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Background in Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure
Experience working in an Agile oriented environment
Core hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
