What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is seeking a Systems Architect to join a large team of Software/System Engineers and a few other Systems Architects to support and enhance a multi-fabric environment. This is particularly in relation to supporting the Sponsor’s Open Source Data Layer Services and Internet Network. You will translate stakeholder requirements into use case definitions. You will conduct gap analysis assess technology features. You will generate capability roadmaps and schedules to address service adoption guidance. You will represent the Sponsor in technical meetings and ensure that management is kept well informed to support technical decisions. You will support Sponsors technical initiatives and support the evolution of target environments.

More About the Role:

This work will require you to attend OpenShift containerization training, if you do not have prior experience with OpenShift. Additionally, an aspect of the available projects is focused on developing quantitative analytic products for decision makers. Products are generally web-based visualizations that are easy to interpret and use in business operations.   Your team’s decisions will be guided by and informed by the Sponsor-side choices and will be compliant with the Sponsor’s Architecture.

Summary of your role includes:

  • Develops system architecture.

  • Assesses system requirements and specifications and translates them into functional architecture.

  • Identifies potential problem areas that could degrade system performance

  • Recommends workable, practical solutions in a calculated manner to minimize program impact.

  • Adjusts the architecture as necessary to meet changing program needs.

At the Application level, architecture support is required for services in the Sponsor’s Authentication, Attribute, and Common Services workspace. This includes the federated systems of Secure Token System (STS) and the C2S Access Portal (CAP) under Authentication; Enterprise Virtual Directory Engine (VDE) and the LDAP directory that supports the Open Source Environment for Attributes; and the Common Services such as the API Gateway system, a registration service, and the data dictionary effort. Applications architecture is closely coordinated with contractor development teams in order to improve the services and adhere to ICAM goals and standards.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (active / in-scope)

  • Degree and Ten (10) or more years of relative experience; to include: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Systems Architecture

  • Must be able to work well in an environment facilitating a large group of government and other contractor personnel to achieve a common goal.

  • Flexible – The environment is highly dynamic. You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness.

  • Demonstrated experience working with DevOPS.

  • Demonstrated experience working with AWS, including S3, EMR, SQS, and SNS, to design, develop, maintain, and monitor web applications within AWS infrastructures.

  • Demonstrated experience working with RDS databases, i.e. PostgreSQL.

  • Demonstrated experience providing technical direction to project teams of developers and data scientists who build web-based dashboards and reports.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:  

  • Demonstrated experience with Container Technology such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc.

  • Demonstrated experience with OpenShift Technology

  • Demonstrated experience with Ping Federate

  • Demonstrated experience with Ping Director

  • Demonstrated Experience with SpringBoot Environment
