More About This Position
We are looking for a Lead Systems Architect-Big Data to join our growing team.
You'll have the opportunity to lead the development of a modern data lake and analytic platform for our customers. You will set the vision for how to ETL vast amounts of diverse data at scale. Then you'll architect a compelling analytic platform on top of the data lake to provide data scientists the ability to write, share, and publish analytic modules with each other. This is an amazing opportunity for the right person to take their career to the next level.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An active TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance is required to begin employment.
Typically requires a BS Degree and 7 years plus of directly related experience.
Deep experience and understanding of one or more big data platforms like Hadoop, Casandra, DynamoDB, Redshift, ElasticSearch, and others.
Experience of one or more analytic engines typically used with large workloads like Apache Spark, Hive, Presto (AWS Athena), and others.
Knowledge of one or more streaming platforms like Apache Storm, Heron, Kafka, and others.
Experience with Docker or other container technologies.
Experience using a broad range of AWS technologies (EC2, S3, ELB, IAM, Route 53, Lambda, CloudFormation, VPCs, SNS, SES, etc)
Experience with microservice-based architectures.
Expertise with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools (or a desire to learn them)
Software development experience using Java, Maven, and Spring.
