Job Description

CACI is currently hiring a Systems Engineer to provide oversite and technical input in support of a data compliance program in Herndon, VA.

What You’ll Get to Do:
You will be part of a team to provide solution solutions that may include development and engineering of data tagging (metadata) services, micro-services, service and system integration and/or APIs for enhanced data exchange across data repositories or data lakes within a cloud-based environment.

More About the Role:
As a team, you will be supporting the Project/Program management, engineering and architecture as well as application development for tools, services, specifications for internal services and tools, as well as external system interaction with these tools.

You will potentially represent your team in technical meetings and ensure that management is kept well informed to support technical decisions. You will support the team’s technical initiatives and support the evolution of target environments.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Senior level experience in government or industry in relevant work including: Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or Data Engineering (10+ years of experience)

  • Experience with performing assessment, analysis and development of technical requirements

  • Demonstrated familiarity with the data management lifecycle

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Demonstrated experience working with RDS databases, i.e. PostgreSQL.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of executive, highly visible Sponsor programs

  • Demonstrated experience with data tagging and/or metadata management.

  • Demonstrated experience with Git/GitHub

  • Demonstrated experience with Jenkins
