CACI is currently looking for an experienced technical writer to provide support for the U.S. Navy’s Southeast Regional Maintenance Center (SERMC) Total Ship Readiness (TSRA) and Mandatory Technical Requirement (MTR) Assessment Programs.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Under supervision, provide final assessment documentation for the Navy ship maintenance program
Research, compile and validate ships’ system/equipment configuration data from Navy logistical and 3M databases and input into Fleet Assessment Support Tool (FAST).
Develop and assemble Assessment Books.
Convert Material Assessment Forms (MAFs) into Automated Work Notifications (AWNs) and screen for completeness and accuracy.
Create 3M bulk-load files and upload to the ships’ CSMP
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
High school / GED diploma
3+ years relevant experience in Navy documentation
Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Minimum 1-year of experience with Navy 3M system
Minimum 1-year of experience with Navy Shipboard Supply and Logistics Databases (OMMS-NG and Relational Supply)
Excellent communication skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
3+ years of experience gained working with U.S. Navy or Military Sealift Command ships desired
Working knowledge of AdobePro desired
