More About the Role:

CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector has a need for an experienced technologist with proven success implementing Agile/DevOps methodologies.  As an Agile/DevOps Technical Lead, you will join our program’s leadership team supporting our Intelligence Community customer.

  Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Creating and improving Agile/DevOps processes within the organization to include spreading Agile/DevOps best practices between different teams, integrating Agile/DevOps teams within non-Agile processes, and measuring results of an Agile/DevOps transition

  • Assisting with improving daily operations

  • Working with program lead engineers to implement new IT systems and policies

  • Providing strategic information technology planning

  • Evaluating performance against established goals and standards

  • Leveraging new and existing technologies to create opportunities for business growth

  • Developing mission-based, strategic technology roadmaps for strategic planning and systems acquisition decisions, and balancing cost, performance, schedule, and risk

  • Offering recommendations and guidance on best practice for capability gap-filling options

  • Recommending and driving strategic investments in technology

  • Assisting in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts

  • Supporting business development activities for new pursuits

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as an Agile/DevOps coach

  • Possess strong Agile background to include development and engineering

  • Experience integrating Government and Contractor teams on implementing Agile/DevOps principles

  • Experience with cloud computing technologies

  • Understanding of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)

  • Good IT architecture generalist with specific skills in technologies, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, infrastructure technologies, such as Nutanix, and software development and scripting languages

  • Possess technical background to effectively communicate and collaborate with engineers assessing current technical environment and proposing improved solutions

  • Knowledgeable of the customer’s legacy and current and future technologies

  • Experience and willing to work alongside the team lead to implement solutions

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage rank and file engineers, as well as Government and Contractor leadership

  • Experience and comfortable with providing technical briefs

  • 10+ Years of relevant technology experience supporting IC contracting space

Candidate must have one of the following:

  • 14 years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree

  • 12 years of job related experience and Master’s degree

  • 12 years of job related experience and Doctorate

  • Core hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
