What You’ll Get to Do

As a System Architect for one of the SAFFIRE Agile Release Trains, you will be working closely with government product owners, business analysts, scrum masters, and the user engagement team to understand mission needs and design systems in-line with the overall solution. You will be a key member of the leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and SecDevOps. 

More About the Role

Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and exploration of solution alternatives 
  • Summarize and Communicate Program Increment Objectives 
  • Manage Non-Functional Requirements for the system and input into the Solution 
  • Plan and develop the Architectural Runway for the system 
  • Communicate/Coordinate with External Stakeholders  
  • Assist in the Development and Maintenance of Solution Roadmaps and Program Vision 
  • Collaborate and Align Technologies across Release Trains 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Current Top Secret Security Clearance 
  • Prior experience with Agile Development and/or Scrum 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills 
  • Ability to work with and technically lead a team 
  • Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment 
  • Understanding of all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle 

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAFe Agile Methodologies 
  • Technical background in Software Development, AI/ML, SecDevOps 
  • Information Assurance/DoD 8570 certification (like Security+) 
  • Experience with Cloud Computing and Hybrid On-Prem solutions 
  • AWS Certification 
  • Experience delivering CI/CD Solutions in an automated SecDevOps environment 
  • Domain experience in Imagery Analysis or Computer Vision 
  • Exposure on design and developing micro-services architecture, PAAS, Solution Evaluation and Recommendation, and CI / CD Good experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects 
  • Broad-based IT Infrastructure knowledge and deeper experience in at least one technical domain (Workplace/End User Technology, Networking, Server/Storage, Databases)
