What You’ll Get to Do: CACI has an exciting and immediate opportunity for a Network and Systems Configuration Management Specialist to support the USAF Network Operations Security Center (NOSC). This position works at the customer on-site Tier 3 support location at Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.
More About the Role:
In this role you will:
Collect, store, and manage the approved baselines of systems being documented through the Configuration Change Items (CCIs). Ensure complete accuracy for periodic auditing.
Establish and support the USAFCENT Configuration/ Change Advisory Board (CAB) in accordance with Joint, USCENTCOM, AF, and local Operating Instructions. Ensure Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes account towards ISO 20K accreditation.
Provide functional management of the CAB, coordinate place and time of the CAB with board president and other voting members, collect recorded meeting minutes and publish information on a secure web page.
Manage the USAFCENT A6O Project, Workflow, Requirements, and Resource Plus (PWRR+) (AF3215) system for new requirements and the BMC Remedy ticket system for O&M equipment purchases, as well as other USAF and/or DoD software supporting the USAFCENT mission.
Create, coordinate, and manage all Configuration Management (CM) Communications Task Orders (CTO) submissions and release to USAFCENT Forward for publishing.
Work with Change and Release Management to check all systems and network standard processes through performance evaluation for technical accuracy and viability.
Ensure CM OPR Tabs within local policies are technically accurate and up-to-date.
Manage the procurement, licensing, and life-cycle of all USAFCENT software to include but not limited to the Quote process, purchase, store, make available to requestor all software utilized on the USAFCENT enterprise.
Use toolsets such as System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Solar Winds, as well as other asset management tools for validation of actively used software, as well as analyzing versioning to ensure proper security and patching is accurate.
Compile appropriate data to support the Risk Management Framework process pertaining to each documented circuit.
You will also be required to:
Serve as senior manager/consultant and provide for overall management, direction and control of resources and activities for a specific functional area(s)
Support tactical and strategic planning associated with delivery of services and capabilities
Research, evaluate and provide information regarding emerging military and commercial enterprise IT/Cybersecurity technologies, and provide recommended strategies
Provide oral and written briefs, presentations, and professional reports to Government senior leaders and decision makers
Serve as consultant on enterprise IT/Cybersecurity equipment, systems, software, and support services
Provide technical assistance on assigned projects
Assist with configuration and cybersecurity program inspections and audits
Assist the government’s Accountable Property Officers/Equipment Control Officers with communications and IT asset management and related activities
Develop, update, and maintain facility, network, and systems documentation
Use Microsoft Project Server to document, update, and track and report the status of assigned projects
Develop and review detailed or complex technical documents such as techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs), concepts of operations (CONOPS), special instructions and engineering plans, for supported enterprise IT and cybersecurity technology, services, applications, and processes
Host and/or participate in technical meetings as necessary
Develop and provide meeting agendas and minutes, as requested by the government.
Support continuity and on-the job training to contractor and government technical support personnel (CONUS and OCONUS)
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
DoD Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance prior to starting)
Associates in related field and 3 or more years’ relevant IT experience OR 5 or more years’ of relevant IT experience.
Extensive LAN/WAN background and experience to understand systems and network architecture configurations.
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
IAT II Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or CCNA-Sec)
Minimum Professional Certifications:

Experience working in DoD, Air Force, and local base environments
