CACI Enterprise IT Operations has an opportunity for a Network Engineer to support a large and complex IT enterprise program.
What you’ll get to do:
Candidate will be supporting a Global Enterprise Support Desk using event management tools to perform 24/7 mission and infrastructure monitoring, notification, administrative support, logging, ticketing and reporting for supported systems. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring a variety of systems and use tools to look at databases, displays, logs, and responsible for updating Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents and Knowledge Base (KB) articles that are used to identify and validate event data. As required the candidate will take specified administrative action to perform actions, provide ticket based event tracking through use of ServiceNow, and to provide timely notification and routing of issues to support teams as required. The team is responsible for reporting for situational awareness and support actions, and with customers and support personnel to provide notification and response to event activity. In addition, the team may perform router and switch updates in support of security actions.
You’ll bring these qualifications:
BS or equivalent + 4 yrs related Service Desk experience
Candidate must be a team player and have the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Must be able to multi-task
Must possess good communication and customer service skills.
(Candidate shall have appropriate certification in compliance with the requirements of the DoD 8570 Information Assurance
Category IAT Level II.)
These qualifications would be nice to have:
Must meet contract level requirements for appropriate position. Experience in ticket management system like Remedy is a plus. Unix experience is not required, but is a plus.
HDI Problem management certifications
ITIL V3 certified
