Job Description

CACI is seeking a Cleared Field Service Satellite Technician to support a communications contract in Coronado, California.  You will focus on the installation, operations, repair, and training of very small aperture (VSAT) communications systems. What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provides hands-on assistance involving troubleshooting and diagnostic support for all related systems, equipment failures or service issues
  • Provide Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support
  • Provide daily and/or weekly, and as needed, deliverables depicting support provided to our customers
  • Generate and maintain work orders and shipping/return of OCONUS and CONUS equipment requiring maintenance utilizing the program’s logistical database software
  • Provide installation, operation, and maintenance training and troubleshooting to personnel
  • Deploy, as needed, for short term assignments to other OCONUS locations

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • An Active Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade to Top Secret
  • Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with Joint Warfighter C5ISR systems to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training
  • Current or obtain a CRC deployment physical certifications
  • Proven experience of accomplishing the mission with minimal oversight
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience configuring Cisco routers and switches

These qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Troubleshooting skills using satellite simulation test equipment
  • Knowledge in HAIPE encryption devices, BGAN and INMARSAT networks, and LAN/ WAN
