Job Description

CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join it’s large, prime program in support of the Intelligence Community.  All staff are fully cleared, and the program provides mission critical Enterprise Application Messaging and Authorization Services worldwide.  The technical staff develops and supports complex data transport, enterprise audit, authorization, information transport, and enterprise application hosting services.

What You’ll Get to Do:
As a Systems Engineer, you will be a key member of the Multi Factor Authentication team responsible for RSA tokens and PKI certificates at the enterprise level. You will assist in queue management and triage of tickets in order to maintain a high level of customer support.  In this position, you will also assist in the day to day operations and responding to mission needs.  You will identify process improvement strategies and follow them through implementation. This position requires a working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems. As the Systems Engineer, you will play a significant role in automating processes to improve overall team performance. You will also provide technical content for all configuration documentation associated with assigned infrastructure and automation efforts. 

More About the Role:

•Maintain existing legacy tools and help plan transition to new tools.

•Lead process improvement efforts to include design, work break down structure, scheduling and implementation.

•Conduct queue management

Oversee and monitor all help desk related activities

Oversee and assist to ensure all activities are on schedule and completed in a timely manner.

•Gather requirements to automate various processes and implement through scripts and utilization of API’s as appropriate.

•Design, develop, document, integrate, test and deliver scripts, code and other services employing standard industry processes and procedures.

•Collect metrics from a variety of sources and present the data on an interactive dashboard.

•Interact effectively, courteously, and directly with the technical teams to resolve technical issues.

•Read, write and implement standard operating procedures and technical documentation.

•Produce and/or contribute to IT knowledge articles and Standard Operating Procedures.

•Develop and maintain software applications and/or databases, including web applications and user interfaces.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

•Bachelors degree is a technical discipline and 5 years Systems Engineering experience.  Additional experience may be substituted for degree

•Current TS/SCI Poly clearance

•Strong experience with Linux operating systems

•Understanding of virtual environment

•Understanding of databases

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

•PKI encryption and authentication

•Experience with scripting using various scripting languages including Python.

•Basic SQL

•Working knowledge of Gitlab

•Familiarity with NodeJS, ChartJS, HTML.
