CACI is seeking a RF Engineer who supports the design, integration, testing, and evaluation of RF systems with a focus on signal exploitation and communications devices and systems supporting efforts of the intelligence community in Rochester, NY.
More About the Role:
Supports and participate in the design and development of RF sensing and communications systems.
Ability to scope/draft technical requirements, identify implementation approaches, and develop prototype systems to provide sensing and exploitations of signals.
Provide integration and evaluation of RF signal collection, processing, and communication technologies, devices, and systems.
Supports the development of test and evaluation criteria for RF devices at the board, unit, and system levels.
Supports the development and use of software tools for analysis, testing, and calibration.
Develop and supports execution of detailed procedures for carrying out device characterization tests.
Collaborate with Test Engineering to identify test criteria, data collection requirements, reporting, and data analysis methodologies.
Provide documentation of work and analysis in formal technical reports and media.
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
US citizenship is required to obtain a TS/SCI.
BS in relevant technical area or no degree and actively working towards 4yr BS/BA degree (minimum 60 credits);
Supports engineering efforts that provide engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements.
Offers recommendations and advice on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
Broad knowledge of RF communication technologies and devices
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Active Secret clearance.
Specific expertise in the development, test, and evaluation of RF signal detection and communications systems and familiar with assembly.
