Job Description

Team CACI has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a Atlassian Functional Administrator supporting a USAF Program. We are a seeking an experienced and motivated Atlassian expert who is passionate about driving transformation in the federal IT domain to join our growing team of technology and software consulting professionals. Strong candidate will have a desire to drive change in the federal space by developing executable strategies, implementing new technologies, streamlining processes, and improving delivery of mission value delivery through new practices and tools.


What You’ll Get to Do:
Seasoned technical individual contributor will work independently with limited supervision and manage projects/processes, coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals. Influences others regarding system design, solutions and procedures when faced with difficult and complex problems. The Atlassian Functional Administrator will be actively involved with other technical staff through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

More About the Role:

  • Tailor the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc..) to meet client Agile development needs
  • Create custom projects in Atlassian tool suite for complex workflows, reports, permission schemes etc. to meet business needs
  • Provide advanced configuration of the Atlassian suite of tools to promote CI/CD
  • Create and maintain Jira and Confluence collaboration sites (e. g., Kanban boards, Scrum boards, documentation pages, etc.)
  • Create JIRA and Confluence reports, visuals, and dashboards
  • Assess and clearly communicate backend configuration changes
  • Analyze, research, manage and implement integrated Atlassian tools, plugins, and applications
  • Interface with various diverse stakeholders as a liaison and trusted advisor
  • Gather requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize
  • Comfortable driving through barriers to foster collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, and resolution



You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required
  • 3+ Years of Jira and Confluence administration experience
  • Knowledge of Agile and principles and applied best practices required
  • Team player, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong work ethic with good time management skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and share knowledge with contacts at all levels. Skilled in developing collaborative relationships.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, are required
  • Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team



These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Relevant USAF focused experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience.
  • Atlassian certified Jira Administrator preferred
  • Ability to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language), a plus
