Under the direction and guidance of the Manager of Quality Assurance, the Material Coordinator role will be to coordinate and lead Material Review Board activities but not limited to assisting in the daily departmental functions of inspection and development/review of rework and repair processes.
Maintain, control and process non-conforming material and lead Material Review Board (MRB) and support the Change Control Board (CCB) process Coordinates return to stock, rework, scrap, and return to vendor activities using established procedures. Coordinate, track and manage rework, repair, return, and/or replacement of non-conforming materials from Suppliers. Prepare weekly reports to provide visibility to MRB status and part movement and/or transactions. Keep the MRB/incoming inspection area clean, safe, and organized. With minimal supervision, ensure that material flow and related activities are coordinated, executed, documented (as required) and brought to closure in a timely manner through effective interaction with supporting project teams. Support containment activities within the facility when a non-conformance is identified.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience leading or coordinating MRB in an Aerospace and defense industry or for electro-mechanical parts. Basic use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with leading/participating in material review board in a manufacturing environment. Experienced and disciplined in following and developing quality processes and documentation. Knowledge of warehousing and material handling procedures preferred.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with Oracle EBS and JIRA is a plus. Experience with Arena Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) a plus or other PLM tools. Experience working with Supplier or Supplier Management is a plus Problem solving skills is plus
