CACI is currently looking for outstanding IT candidates to join our TSA IT Management, Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) team in the National Capital Region (NCR) and throughout the United States. CACI provides a variety of IT services through IMPACT including cyber security, identity and access management, risk management, cloud integration and engineering, field support services, service desk, application deployment and optimization, and operations center support services. CACI supports TSA in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments increasing availability and security for a variety of applications and systems. IMPACT services will integrate with the broader DHS mission and enhance existing Department-wide IT capabilities.
What You’ll Get to Do:
The desired candidate will support application and database activities in managing and maintaining multiple Oracle RDBMS environment instances in support of the TSA Infrastructure IMPACT program operations, maintenance, and deployment with the flexibility to add additional instances based on capacity planning and emerging new government requirements. The selected candidate will ensure production uptime service levels are maintained and made available per requirements that include source file acquisition, data loading of various data types (eg. xml, flat files, Oracle dmp, SQL server, etc.), DDL/DML/SQL execution, table and schema creation, table maintenance, data migration between data centers, etc. and security (physical and data). General Oracle database support activities will include: database sizing, cloning, testing, performance tuning debugging, replication, backups, restores, disaster recovery, and ongoing support to include status checks and critical patch updates.

Plans and responds to service outages including backup and restore
Monitors system performance diagnosing software and hardware failures to resolution
Provides patch management and distribution capabilities to prevent new threats with minimized physical infrastructure impacts
Creates and tests data backups
Provides data cleansing services, verifies data integrity, and implements access controls
Assists developers of data exposure services with engagement of the various databases
Performs database configuration, monitoring, and tuning
Routine maintenance including problem defect analysis and resolution, space, storage, object management, physical database layout, rollback segment management, and temporary space management
Supports logs and alerts, access rights and roles, database instance version control. New IDs, roles, authorizations, audits, locked/unlocked status, revocation
