What You’ll Get to Do:
As the Senior Systems Engineer you will have the opportunity to plan, develop, coordinate, maintain and manage the Systems Engineering, Integration and Evaluation support requirements associated with the Realized & Advanced Prototype Integration & Design (RAPID) Team at JBMDL at Fort Dix NJ. This position requires an in-depth understanding, knowledge and experience in C5ISR Systems Engineering and Tactical Network Integration as it applies to experimentation and evaluation of the latest military and commercial communications technologies. Oversee the Architecture Design, Integration and Evaluations of complex communications, networking and Range Infrastructure to include the interoperability of the military and commercial technologies and communications equipment in Facilities and Ground Platforms.

Requires an in-depth understanding, knowledge and experience in experimentation and evaluation of the latest military and commercial network communications technologies
Perform duties as the Systems Engineering operational requirements lead, collects and manages requirements from project leads and provides technical oversight for mission execution.
Ensures the execution of all projects to include mission and stakeholder requirements, oversees and manages the operations cell ground team requirements tracker for effective planning, directive and eventual success of the execution of military and commercial technologies and projects.
Develop detailed systems engineering process’ associated with an experimentation/evaluation event beginning to successfully evaluate the latest military and commercial communication s technologies. This includes defining and understanding experimentation/evaluation performance and, network needs, personnel, equipment and ranges required.
Develop detailed network architectures, Bill of Materials (BOM), IP Plan, Spectrum Plan and Mission, Operational and Technical Threads.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems with 15 Years’ experience supporting the integration, installation, operations and maintenance of C5ISR programs and fielded systems.
Systems engineering support across multiple phases of the systems engineering lifecycle to include technical planning, CONOP development, requirement analysis, system design, scheduling, system integration, verification and validation, training, cost and risk assessment.
Experience supporting engineering plans and projects to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests with the entire
suite of tactical radio products such as AN/VRC-118, AN/PRC-155, AN/PRC-154, AN/PRC-158 and AN/PRC-117.
Ability to produce technical documentation to support testing and evaluation of user requirements of complex COTS/GOTS software defined radios.
Experience in the different phases of design, develop, test, and verify complex electrical, mechanical, software systems and components with Electronic Warfare (EW), Electronic Attack (EA), EW Support, Electronic Countermeasures systems.
Ability to learn new tools and technologies and successfully leverage those to effectively complete projects in a timely manner. The desired candidate will also possess strong oral and written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Active Top Secret Clearance - Will be “READ-ON” to SCI upon employment and active support of mission operations.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Ability to troubleshoot and provide recommendations on upgrades of software and hardware of installed systems to include but not limited to BFT, FBCB2, JCR, and 117G
Skilled in TCP/IP, Army Network Management, Battlefield Video Teleconferencing, All Solider Radio Waveform (SRW) radios, and Wideband Network Waveform (WNW) radios
Commercial and military software experience in the following is a plus: SAP, Oracle, DB2, Tableau, ERP Packages, SQL, MY SQL, SQL Server, DBZ, SAS, SPSS, Modeler, PHP, Excel, and Java
