Our client engagement processes, the way we collaborate, operate, and deliver value provides an unparalleled opportunity to grow and advance.  Choose us, and make delivering innovative work part of your extraordinary career.   Duties and Responsibilities: - Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. - Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/ mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. - Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. - Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. - Ensures software standards are met.   - Candidate must be capable of designing, implementing and unit testing Java and C++ based programs. - Candidate must have development experience in 3-tiered architecture; Model, View, Controller. - Background in waterfall and Agile based software development practices required as program employs a hybrid based approach to the software development lifecycle. - Candidate must be able to execute in a high paced environment supporting multiple baselines. - Candidate will be expected to support new development as well as operational efforts.     Required qualifications: - Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent and 2 to 4 years of related experience. - Must have experience in all or most of the following: - Angular JS - RESTful Services - Java - Java Script HTML5 - Jenkins - Emma - JUnit - Selenium - GIT   Desired qualifications: - Cloud Migration and Continuous Integration: Ability to configure, execute development, perform builds and deploy artifacts using Eclipse (our integrated development environment). - Ability to effectively integrate development effort using a configuration management tool, performing check ins, executing merges using multiple baselines. Cloud (Amazon Web Services) development and/or migration to Cloud Continuous Integration experience using Jenkins, GIT( SWCM), automated testing SQL, Oracle experience desired SOAP, Web Service, JMS Development a plus, Software Design Experience, critical design reviews -Experience with Imagery Intelligence Mission Applications, Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, and Linux. Additional BITS Information: BITS benefits are unique. Basically, BITS benefits equate to 50% of salary on TOP of your base salary. The first part is a tax-qualified profit sharing retirement plan to which BITS annually contributes up to 25% of your base salary (not in excess of applicable IRS limits) to your retirement account under the plan. The second part consists of BITS' Individual Benefit Account (IBA), which is used for premiums, medical reimbursements, dependent care, education and Paid Time Off (PTO) policy.
