Job Description

This is an new Business Development opportunity in San Antonio TX in support of the  Aerospace Solutions Group (ASG) which anticipates substantial additional personnel requirements across a number of labor categories and levels beginning in early calendar year 2017, contingent on receiving awards for both the BAT (Bomber Armament Tester) and the ATSSI (Automatic Test System Sustainment Initiative)   DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:   - Manages the organization‘s quality assurance unit and its personnel, including the establishment of goals, schedules, priorities, staffing, training, and budgets - Reports health of overall system to senior management team (acts as Quality Representative) - Develops processes in conjunction with user requirements - Audits processes and products at the system and project levels - Serves as lead team member to establish parameters and specifications for databases - Tracks and maintains documentation of assigned quality projects - Reviews requirements, specifications and documentation to gain understanding of programs/processes to be certified - Validates results, reports discrepancies and follows through to ensure that all issues are resolved - Oversees efforts of less experienced quality personnel, both QA and QC - Prepares and delivers customer presentations on quality topics. Fields questions on status and accepts action items related to quality topics  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: - Expert knowledge of quality assurance - Strong statistical computer, analytical and research skills - Experience working DoD contracts   DESIRED EXPERIENCE: - Development and/or quality assurance of automatic test equipment (ATE) and test program sets (TPS) for aircraft electrical, mechanical, avionics and engine systems. Preference for experience with field-level (ruggedized) equipment - Knowledge and use of ISO 9001, AS9100 or CMMI quality process standards - Prior exposure to workmanship processes associated with manufacturing operations. Familiarity with workflow and supply chain management   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent and five to seven years of related experience.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.   ATSHP
