IT Deputy Lab Manager - eDiscovery Services and Analytics Support The Deputy Analytics Lab Project Manager will assist the Analytics Lab Manager with the day-to-day operations on the Analytics Lab and act as a liaison between client leads, attorneys, investigators, data analysts, contractors and technical teams. Gather a wide variety of data types from primary and secondary sources through diverse channels using a combination of methods that will be researched and employed by the Analytics Lab Manager with input from analysts. Develop, maintain, and enforce streamlined and efficient processes for project lifecycles, from collection through transformation of data; manage timelines, training, resources, and budgets; and assist senior staff in the finalization of client deliverables. Manage the collection, documentation, vetting and onboarding of data, manage database development and set up, and oversee the population of data into the appropriate analytical tools. Must have the ability to guide and assist data analysts, database administrators, and developers as required. Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison between ADAM Lab analysts and end clients, relaying requirements and ensuring tasks are created, tracked, and completed, and that communication is properly vetted back to the end client. Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to gather, process and present information for analysis. Ensure that all requirements are met and deliverables are completed on time. Manage databases -“ collection, set up framework, clean/vet, ETL collected data, and reconcile issues. Set up BI reports with visualizations and output of collected data from various BI Tools; assist with presentation development as needed. Learn BI software if not in existing skill set. Serve as team center -“ oversee support team activity, guide analysts on process, provide support and status to senior staff. Assist the ADAM Lab manager in recruiting, training and managing necessary team members and contractors as needed and approved to support the overall mission. Help define and streamline processes as the programs evolve and change. Utilize coaching/ training sessions and one-on-one meetings, take ownership of individual development. Required Qualifications: Have the proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot and multi-task. Be highly organized. Minimum 5 years of experience providing eDiscovery services and litigation support on complex and large cases involving complex eDiscovery challenges. Must have demonstrated exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Must possess detailed planning and organizational skills and have a thorough understanding of processes at each stage of eDiscovery lifecycle. Candidate must possess solid, broad knowledge of Information Technology infrastructures including networks and other sources of data. Prior knowledge and experience managing eDiscovery projects and related technologies required. Advanced experience planning eDiscovery efforts, managing client expectations, and working with clients to minimize their risk exposure. Must be proficient in a wide range of technologies and be knowledgeable as to eDiscovery industry -œbest practices- including an understanding of multiple tools and processes associated with large scale complex eDiscovery response. Must establish compliance with all directives for secured handling of documents. Must have proven ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining proper priorities and scheduling on extremely tight deadlines. Must work as part of a team be able to manage complex relationships with all stake-holders. Must be well organized, a strong communicator, detail oriented, demonstrate good judgment, be confident working independently. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. Familiarity with Federal Rules of Evidence and Civil Procedure. Strong database (Oracle, SQL Server) experience preferred. Excellent Microsoft Office Professional skills required, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint. Experience with Business Intelligence tools, SharePoint, and JIRA a plus. Education and Experience Required: Undergraduate degree required. Law degree and/or technical degree and seven to nine years of related experience or other pertinent graduate degree strongly preferred. Certification in eDiscovery program also preferred. Professional well versed in, and enthusiastic. about big data. Comprehensive understanding of database structures. Experience with one or more of the following tools: - Tableau - I2 - Nexidia - Endeca - Relativity and Relativity Analytics - Palantir - Other e-discovery tools The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client.
