CACI has a new, upcoming multi-year program which will involve developing, integrating, and deploying software asset management systems and web applications within the IC. As the Configuration Manager, you will design and establish management documentation as well as authorize the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups. You will also provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation. Additional responsibilities may include: - Creation and management of all configuration projects and planning. - Develop guidance and advice on methods, procedures and requirements. Responsible for configuration change control. - Regulate the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents. - Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorization and system updates. - Authorize the release of drawings and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups. - Responsible for configuration status accounting. - Track all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration. - Responsible for configuration audits. Support audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met. - Supports quality assurance process audits, and manages staff of configuration specialists for a new software development application. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a bachelor‘s degree or equivalent, and 10 to 12 years related work experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
