Position Summary: CACI is seeking a Data Modeling Lead with a Federal Healthcare program management background, who will be r esponsible for managing program supporting Integrated Data Repository (IDR), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in the Baltimore and Washington DC Metropolitan area. The Data Modeling Lead shall provide strategy and direction for enhancements to the model associated with adding data sources to the IDR and building access layers for end user reporting. Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead to Support IDR data model and views and direct team pro-actively to address pain points - Provide technical direction to the IDR Data Modeling team, coordinating data modeling support activities for this IDR O&M contract and other contracts that update IDR tables and views - Build strategy and direction for enhancements to the model associated with adding data sources to the IDR and building access layers for end user reporting - Designing ETL Architecture, establishing auditing capabilities and exception handling - Design, develop and implement data quality and cleansing processes - Develop and lead the effort to collect, compile and analyze data, from various structured and unstructured sources, to perform statistical and usage analyses - Develop technical standards and best practices for data integration activities including data movement, quality and cleansing - Ability to Recommend solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications. Required Qualifications - Requires a BS degree or equivalent and 15+ years of related experience, or a MS degree and 10+ years of related experience - Experience managing projects in the Federal Healthcare Information Technology sector. - Analytical and technical skills with the ability to analyze issues, assess technical risks, and deliver sound solutions in a timely manner - Experience interfacing with external and internal stakeholders to manage high-level customer expectations, as well as contracts and resources. - Experience briefing executive management. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Experience with data visualization tools - Experience in design and implementation of big data applications using Hadoop (e.g. HBase, Hive, Impala, Spark, Pig, Sqoop, Flume and/or MapReduce) - Experience with troubleshooting problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools Desired Qualifications: - Program knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, functional models and business processes. - Experience with IDR or CMS - Experience with the CMS XLC and CMMI Level 3 delivery EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
