CACI has a full time position for an experienced Senior level Information Assurance (IA) Specialist team member to provide a full range of IA support for CACI / US Navy program located in Norfolk, VA. Applicants should possess an active current US Secret clearance, or higher. There may be 3 to 4 weeks of travel to Rota, Spain to help with Cyber Security. Specific responsibilities include supporting the government senior managers in diverse information assurance and information security accrediting projects directly impacting the secure and reliable operation of the client‘s IT systems. The IA specialist tasks typically would include: -Development of information systems assurance programs and control guidelines -Working knowledge and application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and following current DOD and DON Certification and Accreditation (C&A) standards -Coordinating with and advising subordinates on administrative policies /procedures and resolving technical problems, evaluating priorities, and choosing appropriate methodology -Providing expert advice to personnel on completion and processing of C&A packages -Consulting with and advising other divisions within the organization regarding internal controls and security procedures -Interfacing with representatives from across the organization to identify what systems they are operating (i.e. Stand Alone Test Equipment that has a computer interface) and assisting them with development of approved C&A packages for transmittal to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) -Preparing activity and progress reports relating to the information systems audit function -Using current DOD and DON IT Security compliance procedures -Providing Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) and operating at 100% compliance Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Information Assurance, or related field - Five years of recent IA experience - Current DOD secret security clearance is required to qualify -Minimum of CompTIA Security + Continuing Education (CE) required -Working knowledge of DOD Information Assurance policies, directives, and instructions -Maintenance of Annual Security Certification Ideal candidate would have the above qualifications and background in U.S. Navy or ship repair/maintenance Desired Qualifications: -Experience briefing and interacting with senior-level government managers -Demonstrated ability to develop and translate complex issues into technical requirements and design specifications -Expertise in one or more approved DOD Security tools -Use of CMMI quality process standards EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent and five to seven years of related experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
