Position Summary: Assists in the administration of the company's corporate insurance program including: claim reporting and management; medical evacuations; review and issuance of insurance certificates; bond requests; maintenance of insurance schedules and policies; maintenance of information in Risk Management Information System (RMIS) database; and other administrative functions in support of the Risk Management - Corporate Insurance department. Duties and Responsibilities: - Reports and manages Defense Base Act (DBA) claims of overseas personnel. - Assists Executive Director of Risk Management in handling medical evacuations for injured overseas personnel. - Serves as backup to Risk Analyst in handling Workers Compensation and Automobile claims. - Maintains insurance schedules. - Reviews and processes Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests in support of leases, contracts, proposals/bids, and company activities. - Completes quarterly audits on various insurance policies. - Maintains exposure data in Risk Management Information System (RMIS) database. - Provides advice and guidance to less experienced risk management personnel. - Performs administrative functions in support of the Risk Management - Corporate Insurance Department. - All other duties and projects as assigned by the Executive Director of Risk Management and Corporate Risk Officer. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience, preferably with a major property/liability insurance broker, agency or company. Required Qualifications: - Previous Risk Management coursework: CPCU, ARM, CIC, AAI or ARM a plus. - Extensive analytical and project management skills - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management, operating units and corporate staff. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Heavy administrative and organizational skills - must be detail oriented and comfortable working with numbers. - Time management skills, flexible and ability to multi-task handling a variety of tasks simultaneously. - Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
