Job Description: ServiceNow Developer working closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies. Responsible for coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting changes in the application. The ServiceNow Developer / SME will be responsible for core system configuration. Gathering and documenting user and process requirements, functional requirements, and developing technical requirements. Developing workflow customizations, and supporting the Service transformation teams. The candidate will be have an excellent understanding of Service Now functionality and how all ITIL processes can be implemented in Service Now. This includes, but is not limited to Discovery, CMDB Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem, Asset Management, Service Catalog and GRC modules. The Service Now Administrator will work closely with business and IT teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for Service Now configuration, implementation and support. As new technologies emerge and impact Service Now, the Service Now Administrator is expected to learn these applications very quickly and resolve any problems involved in integrating new applications with our systems.     Requirements: - Bachelor's degree with coursework in computing or information systems - 3 to 5 years working with the ServiceNow platform in an Admin/Developer Capacity administering an enterprise-wide, multi-tier ServiceNow production environment, including the delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI configuration, catalog items, reports, and updates. - Ability to obtain DHS EOD required - 10+ years of Hands-on experience with systems analysis and application development experience, including administration, implementation, integration, and configuration in ServiceNow. - Experience developing custom applications in ServiceNow, leveraging scripted workflows, complex business rules, client-side/server-side scripting, custom UI pages, ACLs, custom widgets, and custom reporting, custom CMS/ Employee Self Service portals - Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems via web-services, Orchestration, ServiceWatch. - Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Jelly Key Job Functions: - Implementation of ServiceNow - Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules and configure Application UI and Configure Workflow - Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests - Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions - Ensure the latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations - Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools - Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible - Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, QA, and production environments - Participate in ongoing production support and end user support. - Ability to collaborate with clients and other developers to effectively document the customer's business processes and other requirements. - Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies. - Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow ServiceNow core architecture and ecosystem such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge. - Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party tools. - Understanding of Web technologies like HTML, XML, JavaScript, and PHP. - Understanding of relational database management systems, stored procedures, and queries. - Ability to wear multiple hats i.e. Business Analyst, Interim Project Manager, Admin/Developer, and tester as required - Skill to effectively analyze and solve problems - Solid understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle and project management disciplines. - Ability to work directly with internal (IT) and external clients.         EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent and 10 to 12 years of related experience. Service Now Certified Admin (preferred)
