Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:   Join CACI as a Training Specialist supporting our Department of Defense customer. With a wide range of knowledge, responsible for the development and coordination of all phases of education and training in the organization.   RESPONSIBILTIES:   Confers with management to gain knowledge of identified work situations requiring preventive or remedial training for employees and for the establishment of organization-wide training programs and prescribed learning.   Formulates training programs using expert knowledge of learning systems and effectiveness of courseware tools.   Educates user on courseware and various training tools available.   Responds to requests for specialized training and performance improvement requirements from all levels of the organization, and develops and conducts training to meet customer requirements.   May develop and configure company or customer prescribed system providing documentation and training on the system.   Establishes measurements and reports on learning progress and performance to evaluate effectiveness of training.   Evaluates and recommends training programs that can be utilized in developing specialized skills.   May study best practices from other organizations on training and education issues, and incorporates that knowledge in training planning and execution. Provides guidance to less experienced employees. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:   Typically requires bachelor‘s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related (training) experience.   REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Active DoD Secret clearance Experience interacting with customers/users   Experience working in mission critical, fast-paced environments   DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   Experience with in person Application Training   Experience with Web-Based Training    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:   Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face.
