Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CACI is looking for a production batch scheduling support resource for a federal government financial system.   Responsibilities include supporting production batch scheduling including O&M, designing, documenting, testing, and implementing new batch processes. The resource will work with technical and functional resources to resolve batch processing failures and prevent recurrence. Specific tasks will include:   Batch testing including O&M, new processing, and stress & volume testing for system/software changes   Executing ad hoc batch processing   Interface support including establishing and testing new interfaces (including configuring Connect Direct file transfer parameters) as well as supporting current interfaces   Modifying production processing for year end   Planning and managing batch suspension/resumption for planned and unplanned extended outages   Analyzing current batch scheduling setup to determine ways to streamline/automate processing   The position will be on client site in Denver, CO.     EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Typically requires Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related experience   NACI clearance obtainable   5 years of automated batch scheduling experience including at least 6 months of Control-M Enterprise scheduling   5 years of production control experience (batch scheduling, error resolution, process automation, requirements gathering, processing coordination, and interface design/support)   1 year Connect Direct functional experience (setting up file transmission configuration files)   1 year Unix experience (ability to read shell scripts and perform basic commands including move and copy)      DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Production support experience for government financial systems     PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
