CACI‘s National and Cyber Solutions (NCS) business group has multiple openings for talented release managers who possess experience overseeing delivery and fielding of systems and applications. RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be a key member of a large software development program, comprised of multiple teams working together to modernize and enhance existing applications and develop new mission and business solutions. You will participate in all aspects of software release management to ensure that all releases are thoroughly planned and executed and all stakeholders are continuously aware of status, risks, and issues. Specific responsibilities include: - Provide expert guidance on release and deployment best practices; plan releases - Advise development staff when requirements for release and deployment are not met - Communicate with stakeholders on status of deployments - Escalate issues quickly and professionally for fast resolution - Keep release metrics on SLAs and KPIs - Maintain release risk register and mitigations - Review success of deployments - Produce required documentation and other artifacts as needed EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline and at least 4 years of SW release or related experience. At least 6 years of experience is required for Associate degree holders, while only 2 years of experience is required for Master degree recipients. Individuals without a degree require at least 8 years of relevant experience. Required: - Experience managing software release schedules - Experience using SW development management and collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, MS Project) - Experience with government certification and accreditation requirements (e.g. ICD 503, DCID 6/3) - Excellent interpersonal skills to operate effectively as part of a team (team sizes range from 3-20 persons) - Excellent oral and written communication skills Desired: - Experience planning multiple, concurrent releases following government release processes to a cloud or hybrid environment PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment.
