Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: CACI has an opening for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Analyst to provide overall FMS support to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) IWS 3 GUNS organization. This individual will: -- Provide FMS support with emphasis on the MK 34 Gun Weapon System (GWS), Gun Fire Control Systems (GFCS), and use of major, medium, and minor caliber ammunition. -- Oversee the development and execution of 3 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases for the Australia, Korea and Japan Mk 34 GWS systems. -- Prepare FMS Task planning sheets ( eTPSs) -- Draft SOW verbage for FMS funding documents  -- Prepare presentations and participate in the preparation of briefings -- Provide multinational and bilateral meeting support to include agenda development, generation of meeting minutes, and coordination of meeting logistics -- Responsible for coordinating the Government response to IWS4 and PMS 326 FMS inquiries. -- Responsible for all Major Caliber Foreign Military Sales (FMS) activities, supporting the Australian, Japanese, and Korean shipbuilding programs. --Coordinate the completion of Area Clearance Messages (ACM) for all GWS related travelers, insuring they have completed all the prerequisite training.     EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and five to seven years of related (government acquisition) experience. Acquisition Professional Development Level II certification desired. Related Gun Weapon System (GWS) experience to include: -- Experience working with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and/or Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) -- Experience with the MK 45 Mods 1, 2, and 4 Gun Systems and major caliber ammunition. -- Experience generating, presenting, and evaluating course curriculum relative to the MK 45 Gun Systems. --Working knowledge of the FMS Program. -- Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance.   Desired Qualifications: -- Experience providing FMS support for US Navy combat and weapons systems programs.  Experience working in or with other external DoD organizations including NIPO, OSD, MDA, and Navy Field activities.     PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
