Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: CACI is looking for an experienced Cyber Engineer to support sustainment and modifications of the Air Force Satellite Control Network communication systems that link satellite operations centers with world wide remote satellite tracking stations.  Duties and Responsibilities:  Monitors, evaluates and maintains systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users. Identifies potential threats and responds to reported security violations. Updates security systems procedures as needed.  Keeps abreast of emerging security technologies and make appropriate recommendations regarding their implementation.  Participates in projects as to ensure timely implementation or delivery of critical information security infrastructure. Communicates both verbally and in writing in a professional manner.  Requirements: €¢ Typically requires a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Cyber Security, or related field of study with 2-4 years experience €¢ DoD 8570.01-M IAT or IAM Level III compliant Professional Certification €¢ 2 years experience with: o Experience supporting DIACAP Certification and Accreditation (C&A)package conversion to RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A)  o Familiar with Computer Network Defense (CND) software tools deployed on servers, clients and network devices (HBSS, ACAS, STIGs, IAVM) Desired Qualifications: €¢ Current experience with RMF Assessment and Authorization activities €¢ Past experience with management/maintenance of DIACAP security authorization packages €¢ Ability to oversee and manage vulnerability remediation efforts €¢ Working knowledge of operating systems security features and settings (e.g. Windows, Unix, and Linux) €¢ Technically competent €¢ Solid decision making and critical thinking €¢ Self-motivated €¢ Attention to detail €¢ Ability to work independently €¢ Desire to learn €¢ Effective, professional interpersonal skills €¢ Pride in work €¢ Strong team player €¢ Hardworking
