Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists higher level program/project manager in directing the project life cycle by assisting in development of comprehensive project plans to include both long and short-range goals and milestones. Identifies, acquires, and utilizes company resources to achieve project objectives. Directs a project team usually within a matrix organization, monitoring and encouraging functional organizations to complete milestones within specific budgets and schedules. May on occasion interface with external customers as well as top management for the purpose of communicating status of project throughout life cycle. May supervise direct reports.   RESPONSIBILTIES: - Manage a large team of intelligence professionals.  - Responsible for the overall contract operations of their respective geographic region as assigned by the PM, and shall be CACI's primary technical performance interface with COR/ TTM within each region. - The RC Manager shall be available as necessary to meet with the KO or COR to discuss contract performance matters. Works with the PM to resolve KO/COR identified contract performance matters within their assigned region. - Receive and execute technical taskings from COR/TTM to the designated local Government representative at their assigned Regional Command. - Coordinate employee movement as required.  Transport employees as required using government and/or company issued vehicles.  - Report mission related information to PM as required by this performance work statement, appropriate regulations and guidelines, or as tasked by the COR to the local Government representative on tasking status. Reported information supports PM reporting requirements. - Provide recommendations and comments for assessing and reporting intelligence related requirements to the PM for inclusion in the monthly and quarterly status reports. Contractor's recommendations shall remain neutral to avoid any appearance of implied or real conflict of interest. - Assist in the coordination of planning, programming, development, scheduling and implementation of various intelligence support functions. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Required Education - Associates Degree OR four years of relevant management experience, Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience - Eight years' experience working in Government environment as either Government or contractor employee with at least two years' management experience including leading large complex projects or teams Clearance - TS/SCI At least two years' experience in Iraq or Afghanistan Desired: Experience in either Afghanistan/SWA regional/political/military issues Former US Army Command or equivalent   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
