Job Description

Position Summary: CACI has an opening for a Financial Information System Controls Audit Manual (FISCAM) Analyst to provide FIAR (Financial Improvement & Audit Readiness) support for the DOD (Department of Defense) agency. Required:  - Experience with FISCAM controls with the ability to assist the government with IT audit assessments and audit readiness activities. - Ability to develop audit responses and audit remediations resulting from Financial Information System audits by Independent Public Accountants (IPAs). - Familiar with federal accounting and financial accounting systems - Identifies key service provider relationships and reliance (e.g., SSAE-16 reports) and relevant complimentary user entity controls (CUECs) within the purview of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency - Suggest testing procedures for assessing the design and operating effectiveness to consider data assertions over the completeness, accuracy/validity, and timeliness of control outputs - Comprehensive understanding of government operations, processes, and business objectives and utilize that knowledge to make recommendations for business and process improvements to align with FISCAM standards - Experience with conducing risk assessments of IT systems and internal controls through test of design (TOD) and test of operating effectiveness (TOE) to identify weaknesses and determine strategies to correct them - Candidate should have experience with Department of Defense practices, policies and procedures.  - Active Secret clearance   Preferred: - Certified Internal Control Auditor - Experienced Accountant preferably in the DoD sector. - Familiarity with one or more of the following Navy Financial Systems including FIS, SPS, EXMIS, iNFADS, ieFACMAN, LMSIS, CIRCUITS, and Maximo.  - This individual can choose to be based out of the DC/Metro area or Port Hueneme, CA. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and two to four years of related work experience. Masters degree preferred.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Some travel may be required.
