Join us to be a part of this exciting and monumental effort - once complete, IPPS-A will be the largest integrated personnel and pay system in the world!  JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate will work at the customer's site alongside other Project Schedulers as a member of a Program Management Office. Working under the direction of the Master Scheduler, the scheduling team is responsible for developing and maintaining an Earned Value Management (EVM) baseline that interfaces with an MS Project resource loaded schedule. Duties include: - Assist with the development of the program's cost and schedule baseline - Assist the Master Scheduler in developing a master schedule by working with technical team leads and determining their critical tasks and their interdependencies across the program - Develop scheduling status reports used at Program Management meetings - Assist with determining the critical path of the program based on schedule progress and established task dependencies - Transfer data from Microsoft Project to the team's Earned Value system and ensure accuracy of data - Develop and maintain artifacts and other program documentation REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: - US Citizen - Secret Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance - Familiarity with determining the Critical Path and performing Schedule status updates - 1-2 years of related experience in project support and working with Microsoft Project - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Visio and SharePoint) - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics or business) or a discipline that fosters problem solving, structured thought and creativity - On-the-job and formal training will be provided to motivated candidates who have the desire to expand their skills and apply their knowledge to improve the team's overall performance DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Familiarity with DoD Contracting environment - Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies - Experience on large-scale software development projects - Experience with Earned Value Management
