Job Description

CACI NSS has an immediate opportunity for a Secret cleared Configuration Management Specialist at our clients site at Fort Bragg, NC.   Functional Responsibility: Update and record all changes made to software and equipment associated with USASOC networks to include: - Documenting and reviewing CM findings and then coordinating corrective action - Ensures customer requirements are complete and all necessary information is provided to facilitate the expedient completion of changes to hardware and software used on the Nonsecure Inter.NET Protocol Routing Network (NIPR Network) and Secure Inter.NET Protocol Routing Network (SIPR Network). - Evaluating baseline deviations and making recommendations for rectifying them - Creates necessary sub-tasks on each Change Request, coordinates and routes CRs to operational and functional areas within the Distributed Computing tower of the SITEC contract. - Coordinating the release of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) - Tracking Supplier Requests for Engineering Approval (SREAs), Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs), End of Life (EOL), CM Data Warehousing (DW), and Requests for Variation (RFVs) by configuration   Desired Skillset: - Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Office Products - Excellent data entry skills - Good communication skills d. Military experience a plus - need a good working knowledge of Military acronyms and command structure. - Conducting Technical Review Board (TRB) and Change Review Board (CRB) meeting - Reviewing and implementing CM plans, baselines, and milestone - Developing and implementing overarching CM procedures and establishing responsibilities, authorities, and plan approval levels Security Clearance:  - Secret with TS eligibility Certification Required:  - ITILv3 Fundamentals - required within 60 days of hire.   Minimum/General Experience: - Three years configuration management or equivalent experience.   Education: - BA/BS
