Job Description

CACI is seeking an entry level quality assurance engineer who under minimal supervision is able to document test scripts, perform tests, and accurately describe quality metrics for a complex DoD system. This person will work as part of a dynamic team supporting mission critical systems that are being expanded and integrated.  Ideally the person should have few years of relevant experience.   CACI's Enterprise Solutions Group provides enterprise IT services and solutions across the breadth of CACI customers, including the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community, civilian agencies, and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).   One of those successful solutions is the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) suite of applications.  WAWF is a mature, vibrant and growth project that currently covers the functional areas within the DoD end-to-end procurement model.  WAWF is a paperless contracting DoD-wide effort designed to eliminate paper from the receipt/acceptance process of the DoD contracting life cycle.      RESPONSIBILITIES: Applies basic level test methodology, engineering and product knowledge in the design of tests and testing strategies for the analysis and qualification of products. Tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Assists in developing new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities. Helps to prepare reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities. Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products under close supervision. Writes technical and performance specifications, quality levels, sampling plans, and inspections procedures. Reviews receiving inspections of materials, supplies, and equipment made by company, vendors or customers. Reviews certificates of compliance or test reports to determine validity. Locates independent testing facilities when necessary. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. May provide technical support to inspection personnel.   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and zero to two years of related experience. - DOD Industry knowledge and experience, including current industry trends and challenges - Solid Analytical Skills (ability to create and update test scripts from requirement documents) - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment, review business requirements while improving on the business needs. - Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills - Familiarity with automated testing solutions like Selenium Test Suite or iMacros Desired Qualifications: - Work collaboratively within a team environment of other engineers to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards. - Familiar with one or more of the following: DoD Contracting, DoD Purchase/Acquisition, DoD Supply/Logistics and/or DoD Payment processing. - Familiar with JIRA or similar programs
