Program Overview

The CDM Program is managed within the DHS National Protection and Programs Directorate, (NPPD)/Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C)/Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division, responsible for enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and communications infrastructure. The DHS CDM Program mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The CDM Program defends the United States (U.S.) Federal Information Technology (IT) networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks.

Job Profile Summary

Responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing and debugging applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.  Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.  Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions.  Designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.  Ensures software standards are met.  Provides engineering support for technical implementation of cyber solutions in conjunction with hardware product development, for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, and scientific applications, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Conducts vulnerability research, penetration testing, malware analysis and reverse engineering development of computer network operations tools.

Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

You will support the lead analyst performing Tier III support as well as providing selective O&M services to Phase 2 tools.  You will have several team members that will assist you in performing this work.  Specifically:

  • Provide Tier III support for Phase 2 PRIV services
  • Provide advanced engineering support, coordinating with solution providers to support additional problem management activities as required
  • Operate and maintain Phase 2 tools including CyberArk

More About the Role:

  • Assist in preparing status reports at least weekly and monthly and complete other reporting requirements as required
  • Assist in developing, coordinating and maintaining the relevant portions of the Service Operations Handbook and holding team members accountable for following published SOPs.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience Supporting PRIV services to include:  CyberArk
  • Experience with ITIL processes
  • Clear and proven communicator. 
  • Detail oriented – must be able to recognize critical elements of successful operations and then hold themselves accountable for meeting those critical elements.
  • Flexibility – The environment is very dynamic.  You will be expected to keep up with the changing environment while ensuring a high level of operational effectiveness
  • Team Player – This role is part of a much larger team.  You will be expected to support the overall Operations Team and Team CACI’s mission.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • BA/BS and 3+ YRS Experience
  • Relevant DHS or .Gov Cyber Security focused experience
  • Working knowledge of Service Now and/or Remedy Ticket Management Systems.
  • Security+ Certification or better
  • Relevant product specific Certifications
  • Able to obtain a DoD Clearance
  • Abe to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD)
