What You’ll Get to Do:
  • Be apart of the CACI team providing regional modernization of an aging LMR architecture for our federal customer.  You will work directly with customers on requirements, site locations, site surveys, etc.  The successful candidates must be reliable, customer service oriented, detailed oriented, team players, and effective communicators.

More About the Role:

  • Troubleshoot and provide technical support for two-way radio equipment, work with both analog and digital systems, both mobile and portable
  • Install, program, maintain, and repair two-way radios, repeaters, multi-couplers, antenna systems, power systems, and two-way radio dispatch console equipment
  • Install and troubleshoot P25 LMR infrastructure equipment at existing and new site locations
  • Test, tune, and align duplexers, repeaters, portable radios and mobile radios
  • Set up, configure, and use service and test instrumentation to perform communication tests and maintenance
  • Perform coverage drive test
  • Conduct site surveys for equipment installation and ensure R56 standards are met
  • Prepare site installation and test reports

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experience organizing and directing site survey network installations
  • Understanding of electronics and RF principles
  • Knowledge of RF test tools such as transmission test sets, signal generators, spectrum analyzers
  • Knowledge of frequency utilization, base stations, repeaters, multi-couplers, duplexers, radio code plug template development, radio programming
  • Knowledge of network topologies (specifically optimization and design)
  • Experience assembling and staging 7.x P25 LMR networks
  • Experience with testing and staging 7.x equipment before deployment
  • BS with 5 year’s experience or Associates with 7 year’s experience
  • US Citizenship with Active DHS EOD or the ability to obtain/maintain such required clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • LMR Trunking experience
