Job Description

CACI is seeking a talented Software Developer (Systems Software) to join our amazing team in Chantilly, VA. This position will support an Intelligence Community contract, which requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance in order to be eligible for consideration.

More About the Role:

The successful Software Developer will be part of a large group of SME software developers working with cutting edge cloud technology. This is a high-volume environment in which the team of developers are performing data extraction, transformation and load (ETL), data mapping, analytical support, operational support, database support, application development, and associated maintenance of production systems.

What You’ll Get to Do:

You will be working in a quick-paced, process-improvement environment that requires experience with the principles of biometric technology, large-scale (Terabytes) database and application development, large-scale file manipulation, data modeling, data mapping ,data testing, data quality, and documentation preparation. Your work will directly support data scientist and analysist by designing and engineering systems to meet exponential increases of digital data.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance (active / in-scope)

  • Bachelor’s degree and Ten (10) or more years of relative experience. Additional experience may be considered I lieu of a degree.

  • Java 8+

  • RESTful web services and creating rest end points

  • Sprint Boot Tech, Spring Framework and/or Hibernate

  • Using Hadoop and/or writing map reduce jobs

  • SOLR and/or related search tech (ElasticSearch)

  • Cloudera

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • AWS Developer Certification

  • Cloudera Certified HBase Specialist

  • IntelliJ

  • Demonstrated ability utilizing Apache Spark in the HADOOP ecosystem to process data

  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience performing Linux administration as necessary for server-side development tasks (i.e. build, configure, shell scripting)

  • GraphQL
