CACI is looking for a Systems Administrator/Engineer to provide hands-on support and subject matter expertise in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Operations & Maintenance (O&M) support to two government agency’s financial management systems.
Provide a full range of support services required to effectively operate, maintain, and perform software and system fixes for the applications, operating systems, and other elements under the purview of the organization.
Troubleshooting; integrating; installation; configuring; upgrading; operating and maintaining; documenting; system administration and designing/engineering.
More About the Role:
Serve as the system administrator of servers with duties that include installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications/databases.
Incorporate INFOSEC as an integral part of the systems engineering process by implementing and engaging team members in ensuring security requirements are implemented.
Work with auditors to demonstrate compliance as needed.
Develop and communicate a vision for system improvements then realize that vision through planning, leadership, and execution.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must have TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Undergraduate Degree with 5+ years systems administration experience (Windows and/or Linux)
Knowledge and experience in Windows and Linux scripting, automation, and architecture
Ability to mentor / coach lower level administrators
Technical writing skills sufficient to write Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for use by support staff.
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 certifications (e.g., CASP, CISSP) within 6 months of hire
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Self starter with initiative and aptitude to quickly learn and put new skills to use.
Strong written and oral communications skills.
Experience with Systems Security (DISA STIGs & ICD503)
Knowledge and experience with Active Directory, SAP, LDAP and/or Amazon Web Services highly desirable.
Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems.
Ability and initiative to set goals and execute.
Industry recognized Operating System certification (Windows and/or Linux)
