What You’ll Get to Do

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist provides testing support for a number of software tools and capabilities on the SAFFIRE program. This includes a wide breadth of sophisticated Geospatial Analyst tools and underlying algorithms.  Duties  include both automated and manual testing, security scanning and deployment support.  Our SAFFIRE Quality Assurance Specialists will also insure adherence of enterprise assets configurations to both CACI and NGA policies.

More About the Role

  • Design and provide weekly software metrics detailing requests received, statuses, risks, challenges and major release dates
  • Develop, write, and execute test plans and test cases based on design specifications and requirements
  • Work with developers to perform root-cause analysis and preliminary problem diagnosis
  • Review design and user documentation
  • Peer review test plans, test cases and design documents
  • Collaborate across stakeholder organizations, interacting with clients on a daily basis during testing phases to ensure that release testing/results are communicated to the client and/or support UAT

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience tools for ticket management
  • Basic understanding of software testing, QA, and/or software development
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in information technology with three (3) years of experience in software testing
  • Self -starter and able to manage multiple competing demands
  • Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
