What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI’s Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking a Microsoft Windows Engineer who is knowledgeable in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), possess the ability to design, document, and migrate applications, and is familiar with Amazon Web Services (AWS).  As a Windows Engineer, you will support migrations to include documenting baselines and drafting procedures for migrating custom developed applications and COTS application suites.  You will also, work with the team responsible for cloud maintenance and define operational procedures, and support the systems development efforts in an Agile Project Management Framework.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience working with an AWS based, cloud architecture supporting secure environments with experience migrating traditional IT infrastructure to the cloud
  • Firsthand knowledge of current AWS cloud offered technologies (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, EBS, IAM, ELB, etc.)
  • Ability to write scripts (e.g., PowerShell, PHP, and/or JavaScript) for automation of web server and web application deployments
  • Hands-on experience leveraging industry standard tools, such as Jenkins, Jira, and GitHub
  • Hands-on experience implementing AWS CloudFormation solutions
  • Demonstrated understanding of complex systems, development, and design work that may include computer architecture analysis and design
  • Experience with Windows Server tools (e.g., AD, SCCM, WSUS, MIM, etc.)

Education & Experience Required:

Candidate must have one of the following:

  • 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
  • 10 Years of job related experience and Associates degree
  • 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
  • 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
  • 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

These Skills Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with at least one application migration to AWS
  • Experience with Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)
  • Familiarity with development on Windows Server and Amazon Linux Server OSs
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum framework
  • Experience in implementing small to large-scale custom development and/or systems integration projects in one or more phases of the SDLC
  • Understanding of the security processes and procedures followed by the IC NIST standards
  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps commercial best practices
  • An outstanding attitude, initiative, and ability to work with customers through the entire implementation process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of an integrated team
